This book teaches that believers should appropriate in the present what Kenneth Hagin Jr. describes as the already-completed benefits of Christ’s work. Beginning with Jesus’ declaration, “It is finished,” Hagin emphasizes biblical statements written in the past tense concerning redemption, healing, and the believer’s position in Christ. He draws from passages including Galatians 3:13, Isaiah 53:4, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24, Mark 11:24, and John 11 to argue that Christians should not postpone God’s promises to an indefinite future. Subsequent chapters explain the relationship between faith, prayer, receiving, confession, and corresponding action. Hagin teaches that faith treats God’s Word as present reality even before visible circumstances change and distinguishes genuine faith from presumption. Throughout the book, he applies these principles to healing, provision, receiving the Holy Spirit, spiritual victory, and other aspects of Christian life.
