The Return of Jesus

This booklet presents Sir Lionel Luckhoo’s interpretation of biblical prophecy concerning the return of Jesus Christ. He begins by arguing that fulfilled prophecy supports the reliability of the Bible and then focuses on prophecies he believes remain to be fulfilled. Drawing from Acts, John, Revelation, Thessalonians, Corinthians, Matthew, Luke, and other biblical passages, Luckhoo distinguishes between Christ’s return for His Church, which he identifies as the Rapture, and a later return with His saints. He discusses the resurrection and transformation of believers, the Tribulation, salvation through Christ, and the signs associated with the Second Coming. Particular attention is given to the restoration of Israel in 1948, which the author interprets as an important prophetic sign. The booklet concludes with an urgent evangelistic appeal, encouraging readers to repent, believe in Christ’s resurrection, and personally receive Jesus as Savior in preparation for His return.
